Description
Looking to learn Gaelic or improve? Come along to our online Gaelic classes! Our local and native-speaking tutors will help you gain confidence in speaking and using Gaelic, as well as connect with the Gaelic community, language and culture in Uist. Grammar and structures will be taught in these Gaelic classes with a focus on speaking and practising, and you will pick up new and natural vocabulary and structures as you go. These classes will roughly follow SpeakGaelic learning materials to allow you to make use of these resources in your own time to enhance your learning.
Classes are strictly limited to 12 participants and held once a week on Google Classroom, with each class lasting 90 minutes.
We will also be running Misneachd gu Fileantas – Confidence in Fluency Gaelic Class for fluent-level speakers and returners to Gaelic who wish to improve Gaelic skills and confidence with an experienced tutor. This is a perfect CPD opportunity for those in jobs where Gaelic is used and want a boost to be a more confident speaker.
